Macular degeneration is a slowly-progressing condition characterized by the deterioration of the light sensitive cells of the macula (the central area of the retina). The disease manifests as central vision impairment, difficulty adapting to low light levels, and decreased color sensitivity.
The Macula Protocol delineates a process for nourishing, repairing, rejuvenating, strengthening, and regenerating the macula.
