I live a very simple life by choice. For the most part, I wear the same clothes, the same shoes, and eat the same food every day. Due to the consumerist nature of our stimulant-dependent society, most people would consider my lifestyle extreme. There are no sacrifices involved, however, as I relish the simplicity of my existence and the copious benefits associated therewith. My lifestyle is both a conscious choice and the result of a natural personal evolutionary process.
Owing to the automation of certain quotidian decisions and reduction of time and energy spent on certain tasks, I’m able to give more attention and focus to the things I deem important and valuable. This consequently allows me to live more intentionally and meaningfully. Ultimately, practicality and efficiency are my primary objectives.
Despite the fact that much of my work pertains to what we put in our bodies, I’m the complete opposite of a “foodie.” I spend less that five minutes a day on meal preparation, and even less time on meal planning: None.
